Arcadian Landscape was founded by Evan Weisman, a licensed C-27 California landscape contractor based in San Diego. He runs the company day-to-day and walks every job before estimates and at final walkthroughs.

Evan trained on the design side before getting his C-27 contractor license, which is unusual in San Diego. Most landscape companies are either design firms that sub out the build or build crews that bolt on a designer. Evan does both.

Where does Arcadian Landscape operate?

We design and build across coastal North County San Diego, including La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, Carmel Valley, and Carlsbad. We do not work outside this radius.

Meet the Founder

Evan Weisman

Evan's path to landscape design started at Cal State, where he earned his degree in Landscape Design. He has spent over a decade since putting that training to work on San Diego County properties, from first sketch through final planting.

He went on to complete the CSU Landscape Design program, where he built the technical foundation in horticulture, irrigation, grading, and construction that backs every project today. With over 10 years of hands-on experience across San Diego County, Evan brings a rare combination of creative vision and construction expertise to every landscape he touches.

He leads every project himself, from landscape design and construction through renovation, hardscape, irrigation, and lighting work, for homeowners across San Diego and North County.

We create a preliminary design tailored to your property and lifestyle. This includes detailed plant selections, material choices, grading plans, and spatial layouts. You will see exactly what your landscape will look like before a single shovel hits the ground.

Expert Construction

Our licensed crew builds your landscape to spec, managing every detail from hardscape and irrigation to planting and finish work. Evan oversees the entire project personally, so nothing gets lost in translation between the design and the build.
