Some people attempt to devise their own landscape design by looking at books and the internet. Although this is a great way to get ideas, one should be careful because what looks good in a magazine may not work for your particular environment. DIY’ers often fall into the trap of designing their landscape piece by piece. This leads to patchy results which do not blend or flow well.

Don’t leave it to chance. Evan Weisman has worked with hundreds of projects in San Diego and North County. He has the experience and ability to see the “big picture” so elements of your property complement one another in colors, sizes, and textures. The Design Process

Evan Weisman approaches each project with clarity and immerses himself completely in the design process. Each client and project is a unique endeavor. Generally, the design process is in three steps:

1st Meeting: Free consultation. We have hundreds of ideas and images in our portfolio to start you off. Or you tell us what you want and we will listen and discuss feasibility.
2nd Meeting: Preliminary Design. We present a choice of basic plans–creative, practical suggestions for how to execute your goals. Hardscape and plant types will be available on these plans. We’ll brainstorm and edit them together.
3rd Meeting: Final Landscape Plan. We present specific plant types, details for hardscape, and construction notes. The plan is not finalized until you are totally satisfied.
